Free Headers

Since finding out how you change or add an image to my blog header, I have regularly added new ones. With receiving many positive comments about my pictures I thought it would be a good idea to offer free headers to anyone who wants to add them to their personal blog.

Below are a selection of the headers that I have used, if you would like to use one simply double click on the image , right click and choose option to 'save picture as'. This will save the picture to your files and then you can add it to your blog. If there are any other images of mine from either my Web site or from my blog that you like, let me know and I will send them to you. Also if you have an image that you would like to use as a header and are not sure how to cut it to size, send it to me I will cut it to size and send it back to you.

All I ask in return for the header, is a post about where you got the header from and link to me, if you are not already, I will return link to you. Please only use these images on your personal blog and not commercially.

Let me know if you think this is a good idea and what other services my images could be used for.

Great header photos Mark, very generous of you to offer them - and it's a good idea for letting people know you exist too - it's a bit like bashing the bongo drum ;-)

I'll link to it in my post tomorrow.

Hi Mark,
I think you have a good idea with the headers; I know a couple of folks in the collage arts field that also offer to make headers of a person's art work--but for a fee. If you have a PayPal account, you should eventually start charging. I tried a couple of headers when setting up my blog, but never found one that didn't give it a "busy" look. If I find an appropriate one, I'll take you up your offer to help size it.
Good luck!
Aiyana

You have some lovely headers and I'm sure other bloggers who don't know how to make them will really enjoy using them. I frequently change my header as well.

Hi. Just came across yor site and have added a link to it on my site (http://www.greenjellybean.org.uk). Really good site and great pictures. Just got a Pentax K100D DSLR and hope practice will get me some good shots as well. I am new to blogging and would like to use your leaf picture as a header but I'm not sure how to make it display correctly. Can you advise me as I'm relying on the templates and have only done a bit of customisation? Cheers.

Hi Mark

TopVeg has had an IT disaster, but is getting back on line using the wordpress classic theme. Are you still doing free headers - if so, do they come with instructions? Would love to have one of yours

Best wishes

I just came across this using google, and I definitely just used an image as my header. It kind of looks like crap (the header, not the image. The image was lovely before I messed with it). Thanks so much, I will be linking to you in appreciation. I actually thought of linking to you BEFORE you told me to. Go me. :P
