The Last Cow Gone !!!

I went down to Wiggly Wigglers yesterday to help out Richard with his Family day . On my drive down it was chucking it down but just after I arrived it brightened up and the sun came out. I was there to take pictures of the day , which were handed out to the families before the day had finished. I will post how the day went tomorrow with some pictures.

Before the Family day started I popped in to see Heather, as she had told me she had a interesting proposition for me. Well not one to turn down an interesting proposition ... off I went.
Before she told me about the proposition , during tea and cakes, she told me that one of my images had been chosen for the front cover of the next Wiggly catalogue. I feel really pleased that they have chosen one of my images as the catalogues are sent out to many thousands of people world wide and it is nice to think that they will be looking at one of my pictures soon.

If you would like one of the catalogues you can contact Wiggly Wigglers on 01981 500391 of fill in this Form and they will send you one.

One of the reasons why Wigglies is such a successful company is their ability to offer products that you want just at the right time. Heather and her team have done it again with this catalogue. Not only have they got the traditional Wiggly items such as wormeries, birdfood , wildflowers , seasonal bouquets, bird and other animal boxes, they have also included innovative items. These include several wind-up items, such as torches and radios. Hand made leather wear produced in Bridgenorth , Shropshire and a range of herb skin care products made in Herefordshire from their own organic herb farm. They are also the first male order company to offer Ecover products which they are doing in a special way.

The one item though where they have hit it on the head is their range of organic vegetable seeds. Just at a time were like myself and many other fellow bloggers , we are attempting to grow more of our own food.

As you might of guessed I am a big fan of Wiggly Wigglers as I believe they are doing the right thing for the right reasons.

One of the other products that they have, is a rather fine collection of 12 images all relating to Wiggly Wigglers in some way. I would say that they are rather fine as they were commissioned from myself by Heather. The images are called The Wiggly Collection and are a limited edition of 30 A4 prints mounted in a 400mm x 500mm acid free mount signed and numbered by myself. Their is only one bit of sad news though....All of the "Get your tongue around that " Cow pictures have sold out.

This has been one of my favourite images that I have taken but it is time to mooove on and the image has been replaced by this Sunflower image, taken from one of the sunflowers grown by Farmer Phil for Wiggly bird food.

The prints are very reasonably priced, so if you are looking for a limited edition print by yours truly for a Christmas present why not order one today.

Oh and the proposition Heather had for me I have agreed to do, but for the next month it has to be kept as secret, I shall reveal all then..............you wont be disappointed !!!!!!

That is great about you getting the cover shot. I love the cow photo. MY dad raised cows as a kid. He even built his own barn at age 14 that is so well constructed that it stands to this day.

Congratulations Mark! Can't wait to hear what the proposition was? :o) Maybe I'll have to get one of the catalogues; mark a few items (including a longed for wormery) and leave it laying around when the kids come to visit...just a gentle hint that Christmas is only a few months away!

OK,
My congrats,
Where is that "Wiggly catalogue" used for? Is it like the "national Geograpic"? if so (or not) I think you have done it very well.

I will click on the link to see the catlogue, but cannot order, my bookcase is filled with many many photographis books and magazines.

We recently had to buy a new cupboard just for my books and magazines, so I keep it by "looking at you blog", which doesn't mean I am not interested, cause I am alwas interested in everything about photography!

My congrats :) JoAnn

(NB: I posted again a cow today)

Hi Drew,
Cheers Drew,i bet he is well pleased with that and not many things stand the test of time these days.

Hi Ruth,
You will love it, The catalouge is packed with useful stuff, much of it you wont have seen before and i think that is a really good idea about leaving it lying around.

Hi Captain,
It sounds like you have another secret here.....mmmmm
I am off to find out what you and Mr Lifecruiser are up to

Hi Libby,
I try and take it in my stride, I'm a bit dissapointed you only want 6, you are not going to get much with 6p....Lol

Hi Chris,
Not really ...i can't reveal anything.

Hi Joann,
The products they supply are aimed at your garden, not quite National geographic but i'm working on it.
I can understand your obsession with all things photographic and i will pop over to see your cows.

Cheers Mark
