I nearly posted a picture of a Welsh poppy too. It had an irritable looking crab spider in the centre, but I'm saving it for the future.

Lovely photo Mark....I posted one to with a bumble bee in it. Love yours with the raindrops.

Oh, a yellow Poppy! I can't remember I've ever seen one!

What a beautiful flower... it might strike you as odd but I've never seen a yellow poppy!! Are those real raindrops? I've recently resorted to cheating with the garden hose - works wonders... :D
